I don't know what all the fuss is about with this CD. Because I got it rather later I read quite a few reviews, most of which were blatantly full of praise and general positive comments. I don't get it. "Hate Campaign" suffers from a production that is inferior to its predecessor "Death Metal", to such extent that the album as a whole sounds too weak to be a classic Stonehenge-in-your-face Dismember album. The new Entombed sounds about as heavy as this.

Now "Hate Campaign" is not a bad album, far from it in fact, but in a time when producers can make an album sound so heavy you can use it as a doorstop for vault doors, Dismember ought perhaps not to have Fred Estby get away with this.
