DESTRUCTION - "METAL DISCHARGE" (NUCLEAR BLAST)

Destruction are still my heroes, and I will continue to be loyal to them and see them on tour whenever I can. But it won't be for their recent music. "Metal Discharge", like its predecessor, features a collection of halfway cool thrash tunes that, however, aren't fit to hold a candle to any of the old classics. It's less than 40 minutes long, and the most interesting is the bonus CD (make sure you get that version if you do) with some covers and demo songs.

They are legends, but the music sounds same-ish and sub-standard to their old selves as well as to other current-day thrash bands (Dew-Scented, anyone?).
