Do not be surprised if you insert the new Children of Bodom CD and find yourself listening to kindof extreme metal with neoclassical shred overtones. Though the roughest edges seem to have been smoothed out a bit, this is an album you much could have expected. Few surprises, few shocks. However, that also means that it's not much worse or better than their previous efforts. Which makes it an album worth having, though perhaps not the most essential buy if you already have "Something Wild" and "Hatebreeder".
The digipak version has a cover of Wasp's "Hellion", not with the best vocal performance ever, but pretty good.
